Yes, indeed, the waters in AI is pretty murky now, especially among the startups. Everyone tags their solution with machine learning these days, but how many actually built their own model instead of just plugging into someone else’s using an API or copied it off Github, without even really knowing what machine learning really is?

It’s an exciting time. Also a treacherous time…
