Yes, I agree. Google is so huge it can afford to play around with these little peripheral businesses that come and go. Nothing in the horizon can shake it from its core search engine base yet.

I have both Office 365 and G Suite too. I think the crucial factor here is enterprise favors Microsoft for security reasons and the price point has fallen enough to become very competitive against G Suite.

Nonetheless, in the history of mankind the early signs of decline for any empire is bad decision making and becoming over-confident of its central position. It will be interesting to see how the social media landscape plays out mid-term.
