Indeed quite a few readers have lamented about LinkedIn Groups. One reader even said he used to be part of the team that managed the Groups feature and left when LinkedIn killed it.

The concept of community is indeed important — hard to build up, precious to maintain.

For now LinkedIn soldiers on; the pockets behind them are very deep anyway….
