I’m not sure I get your very ‘abstract’ insights but I think my thoughts are:

• native apps differ every much in purpose from a mobile responsive website and I think end clients will pick up on this eventually.
• UX strategy for apps is one thing to consider. The other key issue I was trying to explore in my article is related the necessity of native apps for utility and security reasons related to the nature of the apps itself, not so much UX or UI.

Lastly, I have no doubt apps will remain. But only a certain type of apps…
