Indeed I did a lot of thinking about less developed countries and how its Facebook users would handle a change like that when I first wrote the article. But I decided the style should be ‘tongue-in-cheek’ and not to go into too much depth on how to deal with affordability in different regions. But as they say, there’s no free lunch. Somehow you’ll end up paying or owing the giver something anyways…
