They don’t. They only ‘exceed’ in one mechanical aspect — flying. Airplanes and helicopters don’t hunt for food on their own or procreate. Organic creatures are intelligent not just for having a brain but also how all their senses and physiology work in sync to ensure survival. With Industrial IoT and fog computing we are slowly creating a close loop system that are beginning to imitate the organic body, but I think we are far from creating an intelligence with the accompanying physical extensions that can conceptualize and execute its own survival tactics. Game board maybe, but not in the natural world yet.
